South Bolivia Nature: Otherworldly
The landscapes of southern Bolivia feel like another planet. During a four-day tour from the famous salt flats of Uyuni to the rock formations near Tupiza, we were constantly amazed by how much the scenery changed. There were geysers, red and green lakes, and wide open plains where the sky seemed endless. We walked the winding paths of an old Inca trail near Sucre, hiked the Codo de los Andes near Samaipata, and got lost in the cloud forests of Amboró National Park. The landscape kept changing, but one thing stayed the same: it was always breathtaking.
