Coastal Peru is full of surprises, and nowhere is that more true than in Paracas and Tuquillo. In Paracas, the desert spills right into the ocean, creating dramatic cliffs. At Playa Rojo, deep red sand contrasts sharply with the bright blue water, making it one of the most beautiful spots on the coast. Just offshore, the Ballestas Islands are rich with wildlife, from sea lions and pelicans to penguins. Further north, Tuquillo is a hidden gem. Calm beaches with clear, turquoise water are framed by rolling dunes that glow in the afternoon sun. This side of Peru feels both peaceful and wild. Through these photos, I want to share the more unexpected beauty of Peru.
