Cities & People of Bolivia

Bolivia’s landscapes are stunning, but its heart is in its people and cities. The colorful, and sometimes car-free, streets of Potosí made me want to move there. In Sucre, the busy market streets were full of fruit, spices, and life. Maragua is small and quiet, home to traditional textile weavers keeping old techniques alive. In Samaipata, we visited a small coffee farm and saw how much care goes into every cup. The hills of Tarija’s vineyards told a similar story, only this time, for wine glasses. These photos capture just a few moments from these cities and villages: snapshots of everyday life.
