Reuniting with Mike in Santiago and watching a sunset from the tallest building in South America.

We went SHOPPING. Half my clothes have holes in them, have shrunk, or are just worn out. After having worn them almost daily for 9,5 months, it has come to an end. So it was time for some new clothes. I’m about to try them on again and mix and match everything so I can check if it’s a complete wardrobe, if I still miss some pieces, or if I maybe bought some wrong clothes. I still don’t want to have a lot of clothing, so I want to make it a good capsule wardrobe. I think I still need one t-shirt and one dress to make it complete, but after that, I am good for another 9,5 months.

We are at a cat café! After we went shopping for gifts for Mike’s family at an artisan market, we found out there is a cat café in Santiago. So we just had to go. And Oh My God. THEY ARE SO CUTE. We bought a little snack for them, and most cats just go crazy.
Just look at them.
LOOK.

Game of Thrones - second season! We made a whole ‘program’ for the week so we can watch the entire second season. When we were in Lima, we watched the first season, and I got HOOKED. And since today is Sunday, it’s a perfect day to binge-watch the show.
(fast forward a week: we didn’t plan right cause I saw everything, BUT the last episode)

We are on ‘Gran Torre Santiago’, the tallest building in all of South America. We reserved the time slot at 20:00 so we can watch the sunset!
And look at this - it’s so beautiful! I always thought I was more of a sunrise person, cause I love the moment the birds wake up and watching the world get ready for the day. But every time I see a sunset, my heart fills with joy and peace. It’s so cute to see that human beings gather around the windows, camera in hand, ready to enjoy the daily wonder, the most beautiful moment of every day. And every time you watch the sun set, it is somehow the most beautiful one you have ever seen.

We’re at the airport. 8,5 hours early. I know, it’s crazy. BUT Mike and I have flights around the same time, so we get to wait together. And it doesn’t make a difference if you wait at a coffeeshop in the city or at a coffeeshop at the airport. So here we are. And soon we have to say goodbye again. This time for almost 2 months. And then a major change is gonna happen. At least for me, it’s the most nerve-racking one, even more than selling my house and quitting my full-time job. Cause this time I am going back to an apartment and back to a job of some sort. And that is WAY more stressful than quitting everything to travel. I mean, I am also super excited about it. I get to pursue my dream of converting a van, of getting my motorbike license, of focusing on building my brand, Yellow Views. I think it will be a great opportunity to do what excites me most, while getting to spend my days together with Mike.
