Don’t be so hard on yourself
give yourself some time
some space to enjoy the wind
to look at butterflies
and sit under a palm tree
it’s enough to just be

Don’t let the misery of imagination
cast a shadow over your being
you are stronger than you think
leave your thoughts to the wind
let them flutter by
while you close your eyes
and feel the sand on your toes
