Keep me Safe
You make life easy
while I crave adventure
you give me comfort
when I want to grow
I seek challenge
and rain and thunder
I want to wander
through untouched jungles
fly over rainbows
and swim with sharks
discover deeper darks
but you shine the light
try and keep me safe
while I keep running away
He felt safe. And comfortable. Both of which are good things, but both not what I was looking for at that time. I was traveling, exploring new places while getting to know me better as well. And I wanted to keep doing that. But I also wanted to keep him close, cause who doesn’t like feeling safe and comfortable?
