Northern Argentina Nature

Northern Argentina is full of variety. These photos are from a road trip through the northern part of the country, with wild nature, wide landscapes, and windy roads.

We started in Buenos Aires and headed north to the Iguazú Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. A curious nosebear wandered nearby as we explored the trails around the waterfall. From there, we traveled west, passing through Posadas, visiting Calilegua National Park, and stopping at the Cabra Corral reservoir. We continued to wine country in Cafayate, drove south along the winding and windy Ruta 40, and enjoyed more wine in Mendoza (those photos are here). We then headed back west to the coast with a final stop in Mar del Plata, just south of Buenos Aires.
